Y is for Yellow Warbler: ABC Wednesday

The red stripes on the breast of this little Yellow Warbler identifies it as a male. I was very pleased to have captured its graceful wing spread as it moved from one branch to another.

My appreciation and thanks to Mrs. Nesbitt's Place for hosting ABC Wednesday. To view more ABC Wednesday posts please click on the link.

What a bright lovely bird, you caught it right on the proper time. I looked up the Yellow Warbler but couldn't find it's Dutch name.

Wow! What a beautiful little bird! You were luckY to capture its wings just as they fluttered.

What a beautiful little bird! I have a warbler for tomorrow, too...something I seldom see. But your photo is excellent! They really are such pretty little birds no matter which one they are.

What a lovely photo. I have a hard enough time just capturing a bird with my camera...you've captured a whole scene! Love the contrasting diagonals of the bird going one way and the branches the other.
